By making a booking with Kitty the Vintage Caravan you are in agreement with the terms and conditions as detailed below.
Standard hire for china and props is 1-3 days unless otherwise arranged. All hirers must be over 18 and must provide proof of address at the time of hiring.All items hired remain the property of Kitty the Vintage Caravan for the duration of the hire.
Kitty the Vintage Caravan does not accept liability in the event of damage or injury caused by our items whatever the cause. Items are hired entirely at your own risk. We therefore recommend that you take out your own event insurance. We do have full public liability insurance.
To secure your booking we requires a 50% deposit (of the total hire cost). We will confirm your booking in writing once this has been received.
Payment in full is required 4 weeks in advance of your event. If this is not paid, unfortunately we will have to cancel your booking and the deposit will not be refunded.
In addition to the hire costs a refundable deposit of £100 (for damage, loss and breakage) will be required at the time of final payment.
Damage, Loss and Breakage
As our items are all lovingly sourced originals (not reproductions) there may be some slight signs of wear commensurate with age. For example: gilt edging on crockery or silver plating on cutlery may be faded. However, items will never be chipped or dirty.
If, after inspection, damage is in excess of the £100 damage deposit, an invoice will be sent out.
For damage/ loss to individual items a charge will be deducted from the deposit as below:
£20 cake stand
£25 tea pot
£5 per cup, saucer or cake plate
£2.50 per individual piece of cutlery
